Pakhro Zone is the newly established zone in Jim Corbett that is open for safari to the common people. It is a new gate to enter the Jim Corbett forests and is located just 2 hours drive from the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. The zone is a 2-3 hour Jeep safari, in which you can enjoy and explore the jungle. This safari zone is famous mainly for elephants, leopards, tigers, Wild boars, Sambhar, Goral, sloths, and several other wild animals. The main transport option to enter the zone is by booking Corbett Safari tours. Entry of private vehicles into the Pakhro Safari Zone is completely prohibited. Make sure you note this point before planning your trip to explore this beautiful zone.

Pakhro is the entry gate to the Sonanadi Range of Jim Corbett National Park and is 23 km and a 30-minute drive from Kotdwar.
