Night stay at Forest Rest House in Corbett

Night Stay Available in Jim Corbett National Park from October 15

Jim Corbett has been lately a popular tourist destination where people not just from India but from all over the world show interest in visiting as they get a chance here to witness the wildlife from very close. Unlike zoos, the national park allows the animals to wander freely in their habitat. They are not bound to a specific area, rather can move anywhere around the jungle. To explore this beauty of nature, people prefer to go on wildlife safaris in the jungle by jeep or canter (in the Dhikala zone).

Jim Corbett is divided into 6 safari zones that are managed by the Corbett Tiger Reserve authorities to ensure that both the locals living there and the animals of the jungle are safe and no illegal activity is being conducted. These authorities manage the functioning of the whole wildlife and forest of the area. Whenever a safari ride enters the Corbett, it has to take a permit beforehand by booking either online or offline. However, due to the rush only a few people get a chance to experience this, which is the reason why most people ask their resort to make safari bookings for them.

How to explore the wilderness in Corbett?

If you want to explore Corbett but not while on the Jeep safari, you can now book a night stay in Jim Corbett online starting from October 15’ 2023. The administration of the park has introduced a website https://corbettgov.org/ to streamline the booking process for tourists to this heavenly reserve. The old website (corbettonline.ukgov.in) will also redirect to this new website.

The online booking of night stay in the jungle is open for 15 days only which is from 15th November to 30th November as the park is closed during the monsoon season for the night stays. The park will be welcoming guests and tourists starting from 15 November. There are a lot of forest rest houses in different zones including Dhikala, Bijrani, Sonanadi, Jhirna, and several others. Tourists can book any of the rest houses and spend nights in the Corbett Tiger Reserve.

Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India where you can spot a wide variety of flora and fauna such as the Asian Elephant, Royal Bengal Tiger, and several species of birds including migratory ones. Here people can enjoy activities such as nature walks, birdwatching, fishing, trekking, jungle safari, and many more. If you want to stay in Corbett while enjoying modern amenities, the best way would be to book a Jim Corbett Resort that has all the modern facilities and makes you feel the scent of the wilderness.
